What Portion of Cash-Shop Proceeds go toward Development

Any money from the cash shop that goes toward FF14 development will just go into developing more things that can go into the cash shop rather than the actual game. This is why cash shops are bullshit. They're just going to create content that should be in the game and put it into the cash shop instead.

And how many things have been developed for subscriber bonuses and prizes that took money from the project's development funds? Lots. If the cash shop funds itself, then the people who buy will be the only ones affected.

Simple solution: don't like it? Don't buy it. And hope they don't waste money on creating content that no one is buying and scrap it altogether eventually. Until then, I'm happy with them spending my sub money however they want.
