How will Ninja Gear work.

From today's live letter we learned that Ninja will be a dex based class, but will share armor with monk. How exactly will this work? For accessories they will be rolling against Bards.

For low level gear, Mnk/Brd share gear since they have both STR and DEX, they may make it so that Mnk/Nin endgame gear will both stats, or have the main stats changed based on the Job of the wearer, IE if MNK is wearing it, it will be STR and if NIN is wearing it, it will be dex.

But I also heard something weird that Yoshi said, think he said the shared Gear will only be up to 2.3 content? So maybe in the future they will each of their own gear sets?

What are everyones thought on this.

Str wont do anything for Ninja, and for Monk Dex is just parry which isn't really anything as a DPS, besides Nin would have more DEX than MNK, meaning higher parry on both classes.

This, and the "higher parry" will be tiny. It takes about 3 DEX to equal 1 parry stat, and isn't going to make a significant difference on a DPS anyway.

Its easy guys, all the monk gear UP to 2.3, will have dex added to it, so ninjas can catch up in gear, NEW gear (2.4, and 2.4+) will be separate, MNK will have their own gear like now, and NIN will have their own gear with dex.

Because ninja's don't look like brds, they look like mnks but different colored armor, a mask, slightly more plating while using dual blades.

Ninja in brd gear would look stupid, especially in those hats.

Except NIN only briefly shares gear then gets its own gear (2.4 and onward). So this fails.
