When can we expect the ability to purchase/hire more retainers?

I am surprised none of you guys read the lodestone, people i actually thought were pretty active :P

Not too long ago, the question about retainers were answered by Yoshi. He said that they would do what are on the agenda right now first, and when theire done with the big stuff they can go back to retainers. One of the reasons, not being variables, but space in wards, latency and such.
