I know, TERA Online RNG cashshop is just plain money drainer.

I would definitely be against the cash shop if they started to add RNG boxes like some other games have done but the games that normally have those are Free to Play.

Great. So now people that enjoy vanity have to pay more to enjoy the game than a player who doesnt? What makes those players better then the others to make them pay less to enjoy the game? How about you make it so we can pay more for +1 weapons and stats? I'm sure the vanity lovers would be okay with that but not the other group this time around.

SE as a 1.0 player who was subbed all of 1.0 and technically supported and cheered you on 2.0, this is more than a slap to the face and a complete greed.

Just going to move to a f2p game, not going to p2p a game with a cash shop with all due respect. Let the fanboys throw their monies at you im not one of them.

Really hope not going to Guild Wars 2 route... that MMO has been utter boring, everything runs off on cashshop, no point of farming or runs. Partially pay to win convenient items and services.
Really hope not going to Ragnarok Online 2 route..pay to win.
Really hope not going to Maplestory route. pay to win.
Really hope not going to World of Warcraft (not classic vanilla) route... everything is dumped down casual for easy players and increase sub price while dropping every aspect of the original features.

Faster than Normal runspeed mounts
Inventory space upgrades
Gamble boxes instead of holiday events
Elite crafting materials that can be gathered nowhere else.


All fine and expected in a free to play environment. Now tack on your $14.99/mo Subscription cost, how you feeling? Little bit nauseous?

I think I've wasted enough time here. If people are confronted with reasonable fact and just want to keep on making assumptions based on fear or non-MMO games, there's no point in even bothering.


@Teirshin EA is desperate for money because they've been losing money for years. (Star Wars Online? Sim City? Yeah..) SE on the other hand, is back on the up-side.

Unless this starts affecting the game directly, there really isn't a problem with cosmetic items.
