@__@ I'm really disappointed that they made Odin's mount a cash shop item... Not everyone can afford to spend more money monthly. Right now, everyone has a chance of obtaining items, but with the cash shop, only well-off people will have access. It feels like a really low blow from SE and a slap to the face.

Because it takes a lot of disposable income to afford cash shop vanity items...?

I don't get the part where this whole thing is supposed to be unfair or the part where one low subscription fee entitles the playerbase access to any and all future FFXIV-related content at no additional cost. Additional vanity items as optional purchases do not any kind of paywall make.

We're all fools with our money. The average person has a lot of frivolous expenses, including this game. Anyone in this thread talking about the wisdom of not spending money while having an active sub to online games is seriously throwing stones from glass personal housing.

YES! We already paid for a game..... if you want to be objective, then we all wasted out money. But entertainment is highly subjective. So if there are people that will enjoy cash shop items, like they do in wow, then that doesnt NOT EFFECT MY GAME. So im cool

The seasonal stuff and a couple minions don't bother me none. Sleipnir...kinda does. But just kinda. I'm neutral to this.

This is good news, am I the only one who is happy to hear this? How is this a bad thing anyway... You get the OPTION to buy things, and support even further a game you enjoy to play (at least for me). Simply don't buy anything if you dont. If a couple of bucks for a few items is going to break your wallet, then maybe it's time to get another job, or ask mom and dad for more allowance money
