$5 bucks a pop for the pets kind of high, but like that price is kinda baked into like the real world items they sell like the mog plush.

Yep dissapointing. This is how these things start. Just fantasia or extra retainers. Now we've got exclusive minions and the Sleipnir mount for sale. In a sub game you should be able to get any item with your sub only. The cash shop is only going to grow to include more and more as time goes on. In a few years they'll be holding back the best mounts from the game so they can be put in the cash shop. Or the best armor designs for glamor gear in the cash shop. Why ever go F2P when you can double dip and have the best of both worlds.(not saying I want F2P, I just hate the cash shop in a sub game)
I saw this coming a mile away. Now they're going to gate the best glamours behind credit cards. Terrible move SE.

I'm a bit meh about it tbh. I mean we pretty much already payed 20 bucks for a (2 mounts, barding, and 2 minions) with the digital CE edition and the upgrade. As long as the forum outrage is enough to prevent it from snowballing. That being said, I didn't pay 20 bucks for a moogle suit so I'm ready for my shameless dark horse >.>

I'm honestly rather miffed about the past event items. Because I joined a year late, I have to spend $3-5 on each item that I missed if I want them?
I'm normally fine with paying for random vanity stuff, but these prices and selling old seasonal items feels wrong.

I wonder if Paypal will be working for this before the Mogstation gets it back if ever.

Not happy about that...

But it's only ok when my favorite MMO from my favorite company does it!
I realize this will be said a million times in this thread, but... you dont have to buy it. I like that I have the option to get it just like i have the option to grind out for a nightmare mount in game.
I saw this quote somewhere on the forums: "We all start out as equals when we purchase the game and first log in, after that, how we progress and what we get is all on us." I'll add, just because it is in the game does not mean it is automatically owed to us as players.

They're running a business; what do you people expect? It doesn't even sound like a very aggressive cash shop model, and full of fluff at that.
