Black Mages can kite too, using the Freeze spell will bind Renaud. Harder to do but that's an option. If you have none of them and are running a really bad composition you can have pretty much anyone kite, but you will not have bind. Much tricker but that's what happens when bad compositions. Same like in Turn 4. 2 Caster 2 Physical was optimal, people could do 3/1 4/0 but it was trickier and not recommended. Not impossible.
