I'm laughing at some of you players saying that nerfing this is a travesty...did any of you do Coil 1 again after Coil 2 and the new equipment came out?

I farmed every single piece of allagan gear from Coil1 when it was unlocked, and I intend to farm every single piece of high allagan in 2.4. I've already started a linkshell to do that and it has quite a few members already. Also, one of the requirements for my LS is having Binds3, so this isn't just random people who want to do coil - it's the same people who will be pushing Coil3, the target audience you somehow decided won't touch Coil2 again.

The AK nerf was incredibly unfortunate, and is probably part of the reason why DEX Ring DRG and terrible DPS in general are more prevalent than before since... that was really the first true damage check in the game but they removed it.

You are the prime definition of elitist. It seriously is frightening. Ive said it before in other threads. People with your mindsets are an cancerous poison to what's supposed to be a well minded MMO gaming community.

No not really. There's nothing wrong with being an elitist. My standards are really quite low - simply have a basic understanding of how your class works and understand the fight before you hit queue if it's been out for many months. Why is it so bad wanting individuals to at least try to pull their own weight?

No you've just attached a negative connotation to it. It merely means that I want to play with others who put serious effort into self-improvement and optimization and think first of how they can do better before how the other guy in the group can do better.

If you approach me with the attitude of "I want to get better" then I'm more than happy to help out. If you just say "lag lol brb cat on fire" then I'm gonna call it as I see it - you were dead the entire time and got carried.

Are you trying to oversell your "ideals" and at the same time trying so hard to bunch up everyone that is not like you into the "whiny self entitled want to be carried *insert other negative stuff here*" grp?

You might need to work on the presentation, it looks like a hard sell to me.
