Good luck ever doing that when the majority of the population is no longer interested in that content.
The fact is old content like coil HAS to be nerfed eventually simply because it will eventually be impossible for people to find anyone else to run it with if it remains at current difficulty.


If the people who came here to post about how hard coil is and it should be nerfed and instead used that time and energy to form a party to clear it, they wouldn't need to come on here to post about how hard it is and how it should be nerfed because they would have defeated it.
Every raid encounter is pattern memorization and how to deal with individual mechanics, then string it together. It is also designed to be overcome by those who put in the time to work on it.

TitanX is one of the best fights in the game, and I'm excited that the guy who designed that and Coil2 was in charge of battle design for Coil3.

Though it was put bluntly, it's true that practicing in order to suck less works.
Most mechanics in 2nd coil come down to simply paying attention.
Blighted bouquet? Stop what you are doing.
Honey-glazed? Get devoured after wasp is dead.
Cursed voice? Don't face anyone by the time it goes off.
Petrifaction? Look away from the boss.
Ballistic missile? Exactly 2 people in the small circles/3 in the large circles.
Earthshock? Silence.
Thunderstruck? Move away from the party and don't come back until after it goes off.
Those are just a few examples of mechanics that can be dealt with just by paying attention and doing literally one thing to handle them. None of them involve anything complicated at all.
