Nahh.

This. If FFXIV's gonna die. It won't be becuase of Diablo3. And thats coming from a HUGE fan of the Diablo series, and many Blizzard games.

But if they truly like FF, they will stick around to see hows this game turns out.

I myself will probably quit playing FFXIV for quite awhile when I get a Diablo3 beta invite (PLEASE!) or at release, but you bet I'll come back to this game when it's nice and flushed out. By then PS3 release might be here, and a flood of new players will be here and kicking.
