Is FFXIV up against the clock?

Oh, I forgot some stuff:

"Wrath of the Lich King is being released, FFXI is done for."

*FFXI goes lolwut?*

"Aion is being released and that my friends is the end of FFXI"

*Aion goes down the crapper quicker than XI ever has.*

So in short, nothing can kill an MMO but itself -- APB died because it just wasn't that great and they didn't even attempt to bounce back, someone else is doing it for them.

"Abyssea is being released, yay!"

*FFXI loses some players but still keeps over 100k subscribers*

The only thing I want from FFXI is a graphical update...
