It's far easier to try to debase someones statement to fit their narrative than to swallow the pill of being incorrect in a subject matter. If you notice, people are trying to attack the fact that he told a joke about White Mages & Black Mages (red herrings, punching motions basically give away the fact that it's shared with Monk gear) rather than throw out the entire joke as irrelevant and focus on the fact that he was really serious when he initially said Ninja is DEX based. Far easier to say Yoshi-P was joking about the entire thing and nothing could be taken serious.

It's OK however. 9 more days until this entire topic is irrelevant and everyone is finally sold on the fact that Ninja is DEX by having the content shoved in their faces, lol.

And you don't take into account that he said transitionning from other melee gear wise would be easy, implying they share the same main stat.

So we're still back to square 1, as both are still possible.
