    No mention of the DirectX 11 version?

    I was away from the computer earlier this morning (I had to get my car's oil changed, then went shopping for groceries), so I didn't get to catch the live stream. Was there any information given on the current status of the DirectX 11 update of the game? I do remember months and weeks ago that the graphic update was going to be talked about at the Fan Festival, yet I did not hear anything mentioned about it yet. Or was it talked about earlier today and I missed it?

    Not mentioned yet I believe. However, keep in mind that the 2nd day has only just started. And there's also still the Fan Festivals in the other locations. They may not wish to throw out all new info directly here during this weekend.

    That is very true. I was thinking the same thing. One thing that did strike me is that when they showed the screenshots of Ishgard, did anyone notice the details of the shadows? I remember Yoshida saying that with the new DirectX 11 version of the game, the shadow quality is going to be the biggest difference. The screenshot of Chocobo Forest actually looked a lot more realistic with its shadowing, as the shadowing look vastly different for what we have in The Black Shroud currently.
