This was about two years ago, and here we are with Ninja about 9 days away from implementation. Here he flat out implies Samurai would be added, by way of talking about it's potential [finshed] relic. He then states that both jobs are very popular overseas (which they are).

This Q&A was also asked and replied to in the Live Letter III:

This is the Dev team were talking about, Sho... they could confirm Samurai but we dont get to see it until 3.4 or something. And yeah, I've seen all those interviews and actually posted news from all his Live letters on my blog.

That's precisely why I said "way too many hints" above but ... and perhaps I needed to exhibit my thoughts more clearly... I'm hoping that the confirmation announcement will be made at London and not sometime in December or early 2015.
