Also no one has even mentioned that people who have bought a win are apparently more valuable than people with experience but with no win.

What? You do not want to be held accountable for trying to sneak into a PF party that has strict criteria set forth that you apparently are not eligible to satisfy? How about you just talk with the leader(s) and see if they will make exceptions and bring you along? If they say no, so be it. Move on, create your own party, DF it or do something else altogether. I personally do not see a reason for the message to be moved or removed altogether.

o_o I've always liked the 100 myth bonus.
Then again, I've always been happy with players that are new or players that are familiar with the content but they haven't cleared yet.
So while the 100 myth is nice, I wouldn't necessarily be against them hiding the bonus or removing it entirely.

However, I will say that I always ask how much exp a player has. If they don't tell me, it is on them. They cannot get frustrated when they are told what they should be doing or at the very worst, asked to leave.
Thankfully, I've never had to ask a person to leave.
Anyroad, point being- please be honest about your experience with the content.
Regardless of what some people will say, being new to content is not a bad thing. You don't have anything to feel ashamed of.
Most people will work with you if you are honest.

The only ones I ever see complain about the 100 myth messages are the players who try to get ninja wins or get carried through a farm or previous wins only party.

But oh wait all the farming parties have "NO 100 MYTH" in their PF comments.

"Just get a static!" I hear the apologists shout. Some people can't play as much as they'd like. Are they banished to farming last patch's content forever? Is that really fair?

Is this the devs' intention? Designing a team jump rope game where if one player F's up, everyone dies? Creating a toxic community?
In farming parties it's a nuisance having to teach participants the fight. The myth bonus being gone already is a bad enough indicator of people actually knowing what to do. There's ample of opportunity to get the kill outside of that. And a static most certainly isn't the only way of doing it.

You can join an FC and take place in on the fly runs. You can set up your own party in party finder. You can form linkshells with people also looking for similar runs. Etcetera.

Even in practice groups though people can help out, making it less of a waste of time for all those involved, by being honest with their experience. Having to go through 5 wipes at first simply due to people not being familiar with tactics they claim to be familiar with, is just a waste of time. Many runs are very easy, and can be cleared in a few attempts if tactics are covered and practice is done. And it's not as if it doesn't become apparent throughout the fight that people are not familiar with tactics.

It's also then really not the dev's team's fault that a certain level of distaste or even hostility may be created within the community. But the lack of initiative and communication is what plays a key part.

This again? Seriously? No. Farm parties are not the place to go for your clears. They are to farm. Yes, when I run a farm party I want people that have previously cleared. That's because "farm" does not mean "wipe six times in a row to completely avoidable mechanics and then finally beat it with 25% echo". "Farm" means "go in and get multiple clears for the loot drops with minimal screwups". I'm all for helping new people clear as long as I know up front what I'm getting into from the start. Learning/clear parties are all over PF on my server all the time.

With that said, if a player has been through the entire fight but not managed to get the clear (that party that falls apart after a wipe at 1% ftw), all I ask is that they PM me and explain the situation. Take some initiative instead of trying to ninja in. I'm willing to give these players a chance to show me that they know it. If they actually do know and make it through the fight to the end, clearly they do know it and are welcome to stay with us for the rest of the farming run. If they blunder around and wipe us several times, I'll ask them to go get more practice.

Unfortunately there's no way to tell that someone merced their win until you get into the instance and see that they don't know the mechanics of the fight, just like there's no way to tell that someone without a clear is actually experienced until you get into the instance and see that they DO know the mechanics of the fight.
