Thinking about joining this server....

Hi everyone,
I'm thinking about coming back to ff14, it's been about 4 months since I haven't played. With the release of 2.4 coming I want to come back to this wonderful game.

I'm currently on the siren server but I'm not enjoying it there, I've been server hunting and 2 server come to mind. This being one of them.

So to the community of adamantoise, what makes you enjoy this server you call home & What would you say to get someone to join this server, I'm just on my own playing this game.

I'm on the EST timezone and pepole say this is a good server to join cause of that. I've runned most primals from tanking/dps/healing. Never could get a static group for coils and my guild leader never took me serous when I said I wanted to lead one.

It's a medium size server for starter. There is a wide range of fc/ls to cover everything that you need if you invest the time to talk to people and make friends. I would estimate that there had been about 15 unique groups that cleared 2nd coil on our server but due to people quitting/group fallout/etc, there's probably only about 5~10 active groups that remained fairly intact (IMO). The server really need more people who can lead and hold a static group so we can expand our endgame community.

Since 2.4 and the final coil raid is coming out soon, interest in raid will also pick up again as well. I'm not sure how much experience you have with endgame (especially 2nd coil), but judging by your lodestone stats, I suggest you work on your gears to catch up and hit ilvl110 or at least be close (yes gears will matter to a fair extent). It is very easy to get sand and oil from ST and hunts nowadays so you shouldn't have any problems. This should at least help you out with getting into pug groups for 2nd coil when the weekly limit is lifted.

Then, I'd recommend running 2nd coil through server PF as much as you can and keep an eye out for people in the same boat as you and continue to build your static that way. It won't be easy and you won't join/build a good static group overnight but good luck and let me know if you join our server and need help.

Kind of stay away from this server, a lot of drama will happen if you mix urself in with the wrong kind of ppl. Then you get harassed on the forum etc. So if you really want to join still, go for it. But all i'm saying is if you are not up to date on gear and coil progression a lot of fcs/ groups won't take you in.
So all in all try for another server like balmung or something, no offence.

Indeed lol but a good way to see it is if you go to the adamantoise forums section and scroll / read some of the interesting threads ppl made ( including myself lol)
You can bring popcorn and gifs because its a hot trend in adamantoise.
Also if you r wondering where those interesting threads went and their poster, they probs got deleted and banned etc. soooo yep

Or, they got bored because the personality on this server is terrible. People are far too full of themselves and take everything so damned seriously.

Thx you for the advice, tho I\\\\\\'m still not sure where I want to go... never though moving would be hard. Yeah I know I have alot of work to do for iLvl 110, but it shouldn\\\\\\'t be to hard to pug and etc.

I just wanna find a server to call home with a great timezone and prime time
