Primals of Heavensward

As the name implies this thread is intended to speculate on the identity of the Primals that we'll fight as we level from 50 to 60 in Heavensward.

The Knights of Round are very strongly hinted at, but who else? We know that one will be completely new, but that is still just two primals. Draconic summons have a high chance of showing up as well as holy-aspected ones like Manduin and Alexander.
Alexander would be epic. Imagine a quest hub attacking you.

I'd love to see XIV's take on Anima, it'd be awesome to see a dark version of her.

Agreed. Anima is a great one. I would also love to see her, but she may be the most alien of all the summons so I think she might show up in a more..well esoteric storyline. Like a boss in the last part of Crystal Tower, leading up to the Cloud of Darkness.

When I saw the panel that described new primals, the background artwork remind me of Alexander lol.

But also it remind me Ultimecia's Castle.

One of my favourite summons is Ixion, always liked it, so I hope to see that.

As for the sky/flying theme, maybe we could see Valefor?

Good idea, but Valefor was already killed in Labyrinth of the Ancients.

Ixion could happen, but maybe later in the expansion as Ramuh was quite recent with his lightning element.

Oh... totally missed that. But seeing how things went with ST, maybe we'll see Walefor

Depending on how the ascian storyline goes we might see the Espers from FF XII coming but we can't really guess right now, all we know about the ennemies is that they are dragon and their Primal is Bahamut so there isn't really a lot of things to guess.
But it's about sky so I would say Phoenix, Knights of the rounds will be Ishgardians, so no primals.

I too have the strong feeling we'll meet the twelve Espers from FF12 soon (either this or next patch), considering the Zodiac weapons are at hand, we might have to defeat the Esper of the Zodiac representing the weapon for it's evolution.

I wouldn't mind to see entirely new Primals that are exclusive to FF14.

Alexander though has a strong Ishgardian vibe for me...
