My Patch 2.4 Rogue/Ninja Leveling Tips

Hi all,

I decided to create a small guide of tips to level Rogue and Ninja fast in Patch 2.4 also found here: http://youtu.be/sE4z1ypSi-c

Rogue and Ninja Leveling Tips:
1) Do the hunting log at the appropriate level range about half way through it. So rank 1 1-10 do at level 5, rank 2 11-20 do at level 15, rank 3 21-30 do at level 25, rank 4 31-40 at level 35 and rank 5 41-50 at level 45.
2) Do Challenge Log for FATEs, Dungeons, Player Commendations and Levequests for bonus experience.
3) Do FATEs when in dungeon queues.
4) Do the class quests at the right level.
5) Use your chocobo companion if you are solo'ing.
6) If you have spare low level gear for STR have it ready.
7) Use potions if it helps, like Poisoning Potions.

8) Use Exp Hat, Use Exp Food
9) Log out pre-patch in Limsa
10) Take advantage of first time bonuses for guildhests
11) Remember Dungeon Roulette bonuses when queuing for dungeons.

1-50 Rogue/Ninja should take 2-3 days when done full time, it will take about 1-2 weeks if done for couple hours a day without standing still.

Problem with FATES currently is not enough people are doing them. I am hoping for a mad rush when this happens cause the queue time is going to be in the dumpster for dps, particularly melee (which have a better queue time atm). So, if you are going to do FATES you will need your pet out to help speed it up, buuuuuttt then you can't get in the dungeon queue. Same with FATE parties.

What is the use in this? It's the same as leveling every other class.

Have 100 leves saved with 16 levequests in reserve. That's a pretty good start

I'm not sure I see the point in racing to 50 Ninja especially if you already have lv 50 classes.

Yeah, but... it's not like it will give you a big advantage to have a Ninja. I'm pretty confident it will be balanced in usefulness with the other dps classes. Right?
