Melding Caps for most of the Forager's gear.

So in my defense I only had 4m to work with so I couldn't finish my beaituful offhand. And if it makes a difference to you, I am a Miner.


Please note that I may be mixing up the meld for the legs and boots. You'll see why.


Body: 12 Gather, 6 Perception, 0 GP
Hands: 10 gather, 4 perception, 0 GP
Legs*: 6 gather, 1 perception, 4 GP
Boots*: 6 perception, 1 gather, 4 GP
Offhand: AT LEAST 12 gather [2nd meld showed a positive +6], ?? perception, ?? GP


You can easily[with gil] confirm this by just starting with grade 4's and making your way down. I suggest starting with Gather materia because gear tends to have a larger cap for gathering.

If you want a friendly trick to pass on use materia that you know is above the cap, generally grade 3, so pass byers can tell with the red text what the melding cap is.

Edit: And if it's not obvious, this is all HQ gear.

That's really disappointing.

It doesn't really look like melds are any better than previous BiS. Seems really disappointing to go through so much effort for so little gain.
