Are relic weapons ever going to be useful?

I like the Relic Quest has is, without this quest I may have stopped playing this game. I dont do much endgame stuff or care much about Ex primals.
Also, I wouldnt have any weapons if this quest wasn't the game.

I like it too. Relics are a big part of my Final Fantasy experience. I think it's been fun from getting my first Zeneith to 600 tomes away from my second Zodiac.
