My only complaint is that the designers forget that summoners need more accuracy than blms on account of the pet. Soldiery body had no accuracy and neither does the poetic body.

Soldiery body was BiS before 2.4. You don't want to replace a secondary stat from it with acc when it is easy to hit acc cap for T9. All the spell speed on poetics gear and weapon and final coil gear and weapon tho, that is another story.

SE should just take the Conjuror Summoner from Everquest 2 and adopt it to Final Fantasy XIV'S version of the Summoner.

Accuracy cap for summoner for T9 is supposedly 491. Right now with the Scylla robe I'm at 487. I always thought cap was the minimum of what you wanted? If I switch to the evenstar coat I'll lose accuracy. Granted I'm not currently running SCoB but they are saying that Shiva EX has accuracy caps approximately the same as T9. My FC isn't hardcore into raiding so I'm not as informed as I should be.

Well chances are, when you start doing Second Coil, you'll get gear with accuracy and by the time you're ready for T9, you'll have what you need!

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, but even then that's relying on RNG to get the drops I need. It just seems like there wasn't much thought put into balancing the secondary stats better considering BLM and SMN have different accuracy needs.
