Up/Down Not Working in Retainer Trade

Steps:
1.) Summon Retainer
2.) Select Retainer
3.) Exchange Items
4.) Attempting to move up/down using controller D-Pad or arrow keys to navigate retainer inventory works fine
5.) Attempting to move up/down using controller D-Pad or arrow keys to navigate personal inventory works fine
6.) Returning to Retainer Inventory, can no longer use D-Pad or arrow keys to navigate up/down, but personal inventory works
7.) Once this happens, you can not go up/down in retainer inventory until exiting retainer screen and re-entering
8.) Happens about 50% of the time, not always right away, sometimes after exchanging items, sometimes after just browsing personal inventory
9.) Can not figure out a specific trigger for it, seems to be random.
