    Suggestion: Improve 18-hour venture rewards.

    So I've been keeping a running tab of what my 3 retainers have brought back from the 383/308 level gathering ventures, partly due to finding no list of what top-level ventures brought back. (Put here as an image due to the limit on forum post length)



    Now other than the two floss silk I have yet to be impressed.

    Are my expectations too high when I'm offering up 18 hours, 2 ventures and melded gear on my retainers? I don't think so.

    Am I way off base?

    Wow those are way better than the HQ Courl meat/skin I get from 18hour Battle class ventures.

    18 hour are to be used when you're at work so that they still gain exp, the only thing of value they return are minions or items like floss silk. Quick Adventure = dyes.

    You should be focused on what you don't want to collect yourself. In my case I made a miner for alumen and cobalt ore, botanist for random wood and 2x arcanist to grab me shit like aldoat horns. Two of the retainers also gather crystals which in turn i sell to get 2x the shards.

    They said retainers are working as intended but right now they are nothing more than a waste of time since 18 hours for 3x 1star mats is a waste of time.

    18 hours = 25x18 = 450 gold ore or w.e Even if you only got 10% of that, so 45 every 18 hours that would be incredibly useful. But instead you have a 0.67% return rate, you don't even have a choice in what it brings back.

    Conclusion
    : Unless you need a minion or dye or something, stick to shards or something of value, sell what they bring back and buy what you need.

    Ok, the issue here is that..

    #1 These are level 50 ventures, so there is no need for EXP.
    #2 You're right, the return rate for 18 hours is, well, abysmal. I can easily go gather whatever they might return, and gather more of it.
    #3 So hence my suggestion. Perhaps there should be more "retainer only" returns from long ventures. Getting your retainer to 383 or 308 should have ongoing reasonable returns, not just a handful of junk.

    If this is how they *intend* it to work, I am not impressed.

    I neither like the quantity they bring back after an 18 hour exploration nor do I like the very limited choice. A well equipped miner should be able to bring back more items than Volcanic Rock salt and Darksteel Ore. Why no 2 star items? Why no poly crystals? And why on Earth only THREE items for 18 hours? At least 30 would sound a lot more reasonable to me

    The 18hrs isn't the measure of the scope of the venture, it's the 2x Ventures it requires.

    If you could pay up to 36x Venture coins to increase reward for that 18hr period, it would be cool.

    Yeah, feeling a little miffed that it can take months for them to bring back enough 'retainer only' things to cover the cost of melding the gatherer retainers. I've just been using mine for getting shards now, which makes me even more sad that I spent time giving them new sets of gear.
