Hopefully they will be smart enough to have structured the Rogue class so that at 30 it can branch off into an eventual Thief, and not just feel like a slightly different flavour of ninja. I feel like the "Class --> Job" format in general is not really doing what it was originally intended to do, sometimes. THM is just Black Mage in Training. CNJ is just Not White Mage Yet. PUG is Monk Jr. Almost every class just goes directly to one job. Why do jobs even exist?

I have to ask this, does it even matter with it being a class over a job? Nobody references the classes in this game and the concept of a rogue will disappear along with the other classes in the game in favor of job referencing.
