Give them reasons to go out and explore? Things outside of the bindings of Levequests?
The reason to explore is to find out what is out there...
If you already know what is out there and then go out there to get to a person/place/thing that you already know is out there, that is not exploring - that is traveling.
As for anima, my use of anima to travel with does not harm someone else's gameplay, therefore there is no reason to stop me from using anima to travel with.
I don't want to be bothered with managing my anima either. Watching paint dry is more exciting than running for 45 minutes through the world of eorzea. Running out of anima is just a reason to stop playing. period. Thats when people go play other games, do other things, and your game slowly dies. The topic was on the possibility of removing the anima requirement for teleporting because the OP doesn't want to be bothered with proactively managing his anima usage.
You want a GM to tell you that one person being logged onto two or more different characters at once is a form of cheating (it isn't, or you wouldn't be allowed to do it).
Teleport needs to be converted to a spell, the end.
There must be checks and balances to every system which gives an advantage
instant teleporting is one of them, it needs anima to keep it from being broken
its like a death penalty in its own way
anima is a good thing, you also have the option to run whereveer you want if you have to manage it more
and as to making it a spell, it wasnt done that way on purpose, the entire idea was to not limit it to a single class, but to make it open to everyone

I learned that about 2 weeks after the game launched, as there was nothing to do but explore the world. Im about done exploring.
A pugilist cast raise on me yesterday... so in short, your comment makes no sense. There must be checks and balances to every system which gives an advantage

yes, he cast ghetto raise on you, the real raise is conj only and rank 50
but lets just say it makes it so your not FORCED to rank up the class that has the ability in order to take advantage of it, which is something alot of people appreciate, and several people hate at the same time.
in the end there is NOTHING wrong with the current system and some people want to complain just to complain(your suggestion is 10 times more valid then the remove the anima cost and make it all free opinion some here have though)
but its been stated officialy why it wasnt like that several times around launch, and it still holds true to why we dont have it on a single class

What are the negative side-effects of being able to teleport when you want or need to? Do you have a link where I can read for myself the reasons for anima cost? There must be checks and balances to every system which gives an advantage

My point is not to say that anima is harmful to the game. The lack of it, however, is.The reason to explore is to find out what is out there...

Anima will be more readily available once you're not forced to use it to get anywhere.
Rented mounts in 1.19 will be followed by personal mounts a bit later.
There is no reason to abolish anything if the problem only persists for a limited time, and affects only a small handful of people currently playing.
