Definitely garlean, the outfits the soldiers were wearing is garlean and the headpiece
is worn by the Solus guy that the xiv websites mentioned. So it could be his son
taking over or something.

The Halloween event would have been put into the game on an earlier patch such as 2.38 or 2.35 and then put on standby. They've had multiple events cross over with major maintenance before - such as the summer festival events during the 2.38 maintenance.

Check out the new live letter, YoshiP confirmed that they are working on a way of making the coil available for people that only want to go through the story (I don't think it will come before 3.0 though). I'll certainly check it out when that happens but until then, the hardcores can have it all for themselves.

It's Fenrir, yes. He's the dungeon's main boss.

I'm guessing a couple roulettes will be relocked. Trials will probably require Uncle Ulty and Shiva. Expert will require the new dungeons. And while some people may not like the look of some of the new gear, they have the option of glamour.

Things I'll do on patch day in no particular order:
-Unlock rogue and see what abilities I'd like to unlock for other jobs
-Whip up my WAR for instant queues for new dungeons
-Main story, then get distracted by fantasizing about Shiva and Minfilia making out.

I doubt you can equip Rogue skills with other jobs. All the other jobs have already their class partners.

Makes me wonder who would be more of a freak...Garuda or Shiva?
