I've been following the thread for the last couple of weeks, but this is my first vote ever. Kurri's "Jack and Rose" shot had me rolling on the floor, and it singlehandedly has won my vote for her.
Never let go, Kurri!

I've been following the thread for the last couple of weeks, but this is my first vote ever. Kurri's "Jack and Rose" shot had me rolling on the floor, and it singlehandedly has won my vote for her.
Never let go, Kurri!
My Vote goes to Maxwell
I based my voting on the last 2 shots then all the rest
Maxwell- You had some of the best shots and i know i had voted for you throughout the contest. You're last shots i felt were alittle lacking but all of them placed together just pushed u to the top. Great Job and GL!
Jayzan- if i was voting on just the last to shots, you would have my vote.. I can tell you tried ur hardest for this last round, Great Job and GL!
Kurri- Between you and Maxwell it was a toss up.. but i felt you're last 2 shots weren't your best. Great Job and GL!

tbh, I never paid attention to this until 5 minutes ago. So, all I can do is look at all the pictures posted and make a choice.
And, my choice is Maxwell for sure.
Everyone had some great shots and they really made me appreciate just how great this game looks and how creative people can get with it. Pretty cool.
I'm gonna follow Kaelah's example and judge based on who has the most photo sets I liked:
1: Jayzan
2: Kurri
3: Kurri
4: Kurri
5: Jayzan
6: Jayzan
7: Kurri
8: Maxwell
9: Kurri
10: Maxwell
11: Maxwell
12: Kurri
13: Kurri
14: Kurri
15: Jayzan
16: Maxwell
17: Jayzan
So my winner is: Kurri

Waaaah it's finally over!!! I'll go forward by giving each of you comments for your overall performance and your final two photos. Because I feel the need to be overtly sentimental like that...lol
Jayzan - I'm so glad to see you make it this far. You've really shown every spectator the true allure of the male Roegadyn! You absolutely deserve your spot for your consistent eye for quality and composition - even your objectively weaker shots have that scenic, well-composed element that anyone should commend.
Your final two entries are, like your other fine entries, wonderfully composed. Your action shot is balanced very well, and the colors and setting you set up make it so effectively dramatic and almost dire in it's mood - very 'final', in a way, as you clad yourself in white and fight demons alone in the dark. As for your second photo...it speaks volumes. It brings to mind a very solemn sense of finality that just looks very bittersweet and incredibly evocative. The colors and your coordination set a perfect mood, and I commend you for a job amazingly well done on an awesome ending shot!
Kurri - You above all deserve all the commendation for your sheer creativity! While I didn't always find your entries well composed, your use of the camera and your surroundings often made me wonder "How did she do that!?" and that is very cool. I was consistently entertained by the humor in your entries, and impressed by your impeccably timed shots and emotive expressions. You brought a lot to this competition that others never quite achieved to the same degree.
The first of your final shots is fantastically centered and composed, and I like the contrast of colors between you and your backdrop. Although there's not much else in the shot but you, you made yourself stand out and that's great! Which brings us to your second photo - a charming, celebratory farewell. It's a happy ending shot to the end of a long journey, and I can't help but appreciate it immensely.
Maxwell - Nearly consistently top-notch and by far the most expressive of all! Your facial expressions and poses brought the most out of that tiny Lala body, and it paid off well. I think above everyone else you showed true versatility, going from cute and emotive to mature and collected and back again as it fit each round. You definitely deserved to come out among the top, and I applaud you for your colorful modeling!
Your two final shots fit perfectly in your gallery of photos, the first of which is probably one of my favorites of all your entries. I love the colors, coordination, and the storytelling - you fit so well into the Garlean setting and you're, as usual, perfectly, tellingly expressive. Your second photo is definitely the most solemn you've shown yourself, and it's certainly evocative in it's own right. I might've preferred it if the composition was a little more even, but I appreciate it for the simply scenic and candid quality you achieved.
I'm so happy for each of y'all, and thank you for putting forth such fantastic effort each round! In the end I'm going to have to go with my gut on who I think was the most consistent, as well as who had the best final two shots...
...so my vote goes to Jayzan!
The final round. What a competition!
I decided to go about this by counting the amount of (what I think to be) winning shots of the three contestants in each round. After pen and paper and some deliberation, here are my results:
Kurri : 9 (Prelims 1 and 3, Rounds 1, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 13)
Jayzan : 4 (Rounds 2, 3, 10 and 12)
Maxwell : 3 (Prelim 2 and Rounds 7 and 11)
*note I considered the six freestyle shots together as one round, hence this will add up to 16, not 17 - but either way it wouldn't have made a difference to my decision.
So my vote clearly goes to Kurri! *applauds* - I feel You've produced some of the most unique and creative shots for this cycle as well as being the biggest risk-taker. I definitely feel your shots have been to a consistently higher standard than the other two finalists. (by the way that last shot of yours is amazing - it kinda reminds me of a conductor. Wind Waker, anyone?)
However it wouldn't be a competition without the competition! Maxwell, your shots have always been beautifully consistent and I feel you are definitely deserving of being in the final three. Jayzan, you've had some great shots throughout this cycle, not to mention your final two; they are both incredibly well composed and are a fitting end to your ENTM career.
A big congratulations to all the finalists and commendations to all those who participated! Aaand a big thanks to Rongi for putting this all together! Ciao all!

Such a tough call, they are all amazing. Overall I'm going with - Jaysan!

After looking at all of the images, especially the last two -
Maxwell - I have liked you a lot this cycle, and your pictures (to me) have always been interesting more so than not.
Kurri - Your last few pictures were what drew me in to you, but before that I found others more interesting or better thought out.
Jayzan - Your pictures were up and down for me, some I liked and some not so much but no doubt you're a handsome man!
Every single person who did this did a wonderful job, and I give props to all of you for putting yourself out there and doing this cycle!
Maxwell and Jayzan - over all - were my top two, but I will have to pick:
Maxwell: Even at the end when I was looking at your gallery I found myself pausing and admiring how well you set them up. Almost every picture you took I could appreciate greatly, so you get my vote.
I'm just a bun boy, doing bun boy things.
I was really happy to get to see some of the pictures from rounds I missed! Too bad I can't see everyone's ♥
Now for making my pick.
If I were to go by the last two only, it's an excruciatingly close call between Kurri and Maxwell for me. They aren't my favourites in either contestant's full body of work, but pretty strong nonetheless. There's a lot to be said for Jayzan's as well, especially the one with the bow, so credit where credit is due - you did good work.
But this is the final, and to me that means the whole journey carries weight. Looking at all of their submitted work, there's two of the top three who has always stood out to me. There's depth and a lot of thought to the compositions that appeals to me - and it happens too often to be just luckIt's a hard choise, but overall one of them rises just a little higher on those tiny lala legs. My vote in the final goes to: Kurri!
