I will always support ideas that want more content for crafters. So far I have only 2x 50 lvl crafter but I would love more content. Ixali beast tribe quests were fine (and they are the reason why I have leveled my WVR from 25 to 50).)

I like this. Hope you don't mind if I quote it in my main post.Crafting PvP
Instead of fighting on the war front, instead gather materials and craft supplies/weaponry which can have a variety of boons such as spawning npc guards on owned territory, faster capture rates, HP buffs, and the ability to give your entire team a fleet of Magitek Reapers. Of course, this also means you would have to find a safe place to craft and gather since the enemy can still target/destroy your supply lines.![]()
Sounds fun, I imagine it would be like an RTS type mini game. Reminds me of the FF7 Fort Condor game where you placed units around the battle. Your part in the mission is overall strategy and resource management rather than single combat.

Yoshida said this about crafters and gatherers in main story battles. I hope they bring back hamlet defense or something alike. Where you can get good tools for DoL and DoH and good gear for DoW and DoM as a reward.
Only problem with hamlet defense was that it became a bottleneck for the relict quest, like the ATMAs here in ARR. If you do something 20 or more times to farm something with low droprate, you start to dislike it.
