    Crafter raids!

We've gotten a good start to epic stuff for crafters with the Ixali beast tribe quests. We even got new gloves from it.

But we still have a lot of i55 equipment to replace. Weapons are taken care of already, as well as head, but what about the rest?

    One word: Crafteraid.
    Two words: Crafter Raid.

A crafter raid is exactly how it sounds. The main fighters need supplies, right? The people going in can be represented by NPCs, and while they fight the mobs, we sit back and have to create supplies for them as shouted for. We would be given the mats like the Ixali quests do. The story of why you make items during their fight is that you throw them at the fighters.

If you successfully keep the group up, you get a treasure box containing crafter gear. You can only lot on pieces for your current class only. Maybe limit it to like once a day so it doesn't get ignored after a week.

You could even use current raids and make little funny names for them! Crafter Tower, Crafting Coil of Bahamut, stuff like that.

This would allow those who want to see the story but really prefer crafting over fighting.

Coincedentally, there are currently eight crafting classes. IT WAS MEANT TO BE!

Another suggested idea I like the sound of.

Instead of fighting on the war front, instead gather materials and craft supplies/weaponry which can have a variety of boons such as spawning npc guards on owned territory, faster capture rates, HP buffs, and the ability to give your entire team a fleet of Magitek Reapers. Of course, this also means you would have to find a safe place to craft and gather since the enemy can still target/destroy your supply lines.
