I actually have my T5 Clear, thanks. As I've stated before, my beef is with the PEOPLE that I try to even attempt SCoB with. The content itself is fine, but impossible when you've got the worst end game community in terms of Patience and social ability to work with.

Me and my FC actually often help people in need of a clear on our server.
All I am saying is that people whining without even trying for more than half an hour or read guides is just sickening.
Because in this game, the content is pretty retarded, all you have to do is learn the "choreography" as well as mix it with your rotation and
you basically have the kill (if you took the time to pick decent people you know are able to focus for 10 minutes.)
It is not helping people to nerf content to a stupid level because they will just get stuck on the next update and whine some more.
People expect everything to come easily, if they want that, they could just play something else.
MMORPGs are meant to make you wipe on content, there is nothing elitist about what I say,
Asking people to put some time and effort in a time sink game is nothing but common sense.
People just are lazy, that's it.

I *AM* Jealous. Because I Know I have the ability to clear SCoB, but I simply cant because of the people on my server that don't give me the time or day to at least FRIGGIN TRY the damn content.

OK I'm having trouble understanding this now. Why not change servers? Look around the other servers for those with like minds and transfer there?
SE has literally no say in how social interactions work. Which is something a lot of people have trouble wrapping their heads around. It's not their responsibility to make people like you, it's yours.

What I see everyday in PF when I log in is "T6-9 Progression" groups that say "Know the fight or GTFO" (or some other equivalent)... thats what I see. Hard to "know" the fight when you cant get a group to teach you. Not to mention for myself I am overseas right now for the next 2 years, so when I can play no one is online.

Why do you need a group to "teach" you? What you do is make a PF yourself: "learning party for T6, no exp required!" Can't find a static to take you? Start your own. I've met great people that way myself. And if you're in a different timezone now, then look at transferring servers so people will be online when you are.

What I'm seeing is a lot of entitlement: people who don't want to take the initiative to start something themselves, are expecting the entire game to revolve around their schedules, and/or expecting to be carried through everything so they don't have to spend hours on difficult content.

Coil is my favorite part of the game and something I like to work towards, why do some want to take that away from the players who enjoy the difficulty? Coil is the only hard content we have, if you don't want to put the effort in then it's not for you. You can argue that you have put the effort in, but attempting a fight 10 times and then giving up is not "effort". People who are downing Coil spend months on the Turns, so why should you have the rewards handed to you for minimal work? People like to throw around the word "elitist" instead of just acknowledging that those "elitists" have worked their asses off and earned it.

The cutscenes are available on YouTube for those who want story. If you want the emersion of seeing your character in the cutscenes then go beat the Turns.

I would love if they gave a different cutscene that kinda paid homage to those who came before. Remove the boss fights, and just have the characters say something like "It seems our advanced team did well in clearing the way." (Would have to figure something out for T9 though... heh.)

I'm not necessarily against a coil-story mode, so long as it's released after we're out of all the coils (Basically, once we hit 3.0, they should add 'coil light' to allow people who can't complete the content to experience the story.)
They obviously, should do this for ST as well, because ST will suffer the problem many-fold by comparison.

In each case, there shouldn't be any gear or gil rewarded. It should literally be akin to Main Sceanrio story - something you can do alone, so that you can get to experience the story.

Ghasto is right, people around there are lazy, too much. That's mostly because of post-WoW MMORPG layout that made things too easy for everyone.
Exping DRG in FFXI at its first years was ways harder and long that any way to form a good static party for end game contents in this game.
Plus Coil is not the main story quest and end gear must be for few players around there. Good old times when only 20 players per server had the relic on FFXI, I actually hate the relic system we have here, that's MMORPG need to follow these rules:

Medium level gear for everyone.
High level gear for some.
Extreme gear for few.

You're not helping people by giving them an easier content. It's quite the opposite to be honest. If you do that they'll just wait over and over patches to clear content that they can't currently clear and make any efforts.
So, if you think carrying people and/or giving them serving content they can't do is helping. I'm sorry but you don't know how to help people.
