Crafting is useless?

Crafting is its own game. It is very useful for that purpose.

To me, crafting and selling is the real game here, that and collecting vanity. In those aspects, crafting is central to the game. Endgame raids are useless to me, as they do not drop very much in the way of crafting materials.

It's all a matter of perspective, and what you consider the game.
