Thread: DCing with either 90000 or 90002

I don't know what is going on with the game. But ever since yesterday, I've been experiencing the error codes 90000 or 90002, which then dc me out of the game. I updated my drivers yet I'm still having the dc issue with those two error codes. I can't even just do crafting without the worry of being in the middle of a multiply items recipe and losing everyone I had done for it because my character dc in the middle of it. I even submitted a in game bug report about the issue. And it's not my internet because I had no problem with it until yesterday. It also seems I'm not the only one that is having this issue as well.

That's just a general network disconnect error code.
Did you try resetting your modem/router?

Is your PC wireless?

Myself and all of my FC members are experiencing extreme lag, and most of us are occasionally getting DC'd with the 90002 error.

Faerie server. Some of us are in instances, some weren't. I, myself, was in Limsa.

Happened to me 3-4 times last night, both 90000 and 90002 disconnections. Three other people in the Coil group were disconnected as well.

This is ridiculous.... been getting the same error these past few days and i just renewed subscription not to long ago...

Clearly SE doesnt care because its only the minority who's experiencing it... though i've seen quite a number of threads made about this. Not everyone can afford a VPN or to change ISP's so that's definitely out of the question.

SE, please get your act together and fix this. I just lost all my UI, macro and hotbar settings thanks to the repeated disconnections (somehow my directory files got screwed up) and an error -290384234 (not exact numbers) appeared.

Even the forum is taking forever to load, sometimes only loading half a page. Pretty sure it's not my network since I can surf just fine.
