Spiritbonding Affected by Group Size?

Why spiritbond at Urths? Isn't the mines in Camp Overlook full of level 48+ kobolds? Seems to spirit bond faster there.

Cuz lvl 50 water sprites, and they respawn super fast...

Because you can pull a room full of level 50 mobs into one small place and nuke the unholy hell out of them in seconds. Then you can move onto a slightly smaller spawn while you wait for them to repop. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Even if the rate is highest when solo, You'll never kill mobs as quickly as with a full group. Especially if the area is crowded with others. You'll just end up fighting over claims anyway...lol

It doesn't work for hunting, but who knows, maybe it does work for sb'ing...

The mobs die in like 5 seconds flat in a party of 8 anyway though. xD

I have been solo SBing a lot in the past before ever joining SB parties (and also before the SB nerf), and I can assure that yes, solo yields you more SB points per kill. However, the killing speed you get as a party makes up for it. In the end, a party is more advantageous long as it's not a party of AFKers.
