Windowed mode problems

Hi, I just started playing and while fullscreen works perfectly fine, i'd prefer windowed mode. The problem is no matter what screen size I pick for that, it does save (no error message), but in game the screen is enormous. Almost none of the game is visible. I tried the font change thing, although it had a font picked already, and it didn't work. I don't know what else i can do...I'm on win7 64 bit. Thanks for any help.

Maybe your configuration is write-protected. Check the files in My Documents\My Games\Final Fantasy XIV. If that doesn't help then try moving the whole Final Fantasy XIV folder to the desktop and run the config again.
You can also manually change the resolution to any value you want but that's a bit tricky (needs a hex editor).
