Mobile app with server status notifications

Dear SE, please consider making a mobile app that can actually use system (Android and iOS) notifications to let us know of server status changes - even implementing such a feature in Libra Eorzea would be awesome. Today's maintenance postponement is just the latest "event" that makes the lack of such a feature glaringly and painfully obvious... Hours that I could have spent in-game were wasted because even <30min before the previously scheduled start of the maintenance, we were getting system notices telling us to please log out. And when I come to check what's up, because after two hours, I think maintenance has a good chance to be over...I found out it didn't even happen??? One of the previous maintenances was announced just two or three hours before it started, again of course only on the Lodestone that I don't think enough people check even when they start the launcher, let alone on a constant few-hr basis to see if there's anything new posted - that one caused me grief too because I had other things that needed to be done that day and I would've planned my day differently, had checking Lodestone been the first thing I did after waking up.

Not everyone can play 24/7, or log in at any time of the day. In my experience, most people don't even read patch notes, let alone check whatever new link might appear in the launcher, and not to even mention just directly going to the Lodestone to see what's up. With smartphones and internet connections being as omnipresent as they are (as far as the player community is concerned anyway), there's just no excuse not to have an app, or a feature inside an app, to notify us of server status changes: planned maintenances and going offline/online as it happens. Please consider this and take the necessary steps to make it happen as soon as possible. Thank you very much.
