Tomestones of Philosophy

We still have this currency displayed on the UI in the Character > Currency Tab.

If there's not a plan to reintroduce their use, shouldn't they be removed from the display since we can no longer acquire them. People who still have them have had plenty of time to exchange them for tomestones of mythology by now, no?

There are inactive people that have them in their inventory. It would be unfair to take them away from those players, so you're stuck with it.

With the release of patch 2.4, any remaining Allagan tomestones of philosophy in the possession of players will be removed from the game. We ask that any players currently carrying Allagan tomestones of philosophy please exchange them for Allagan tomestones of mythology prior to the scheduled maintenance for patch 2.4.
