Help with PS4 version hotbars

Hiya. Just wondered if anyone knows the answer to this problem I'm having.

I have vertical hotbar 7 placed next to my mini map for paladin n a few other classes. I designed it to go there for one use abilities like paladins "shield of ---" so they are out of the way when I'm playing, so to speak. The problem is when I began levelling botanist...

The hotbar started just filling up with abilities when I'd learned them, and they can't be removed... Now the thing lists all the way down the duty list and it's very irritating! How do I remove them?

Right click just is as good as left clicking and it tries to us the abilities. Dragging doesn't do anything either. Any suggestions?

Are your hotbars locked? If you have the main hotbar (hotbar 1) enabled, there'll be a small lock next to it that'll either fix abilities in place or allow them to be removed/dragged around. If it's not enabled, should be as easy as popping into HUD Layout, activating it, modifying abilities, and then deactivating it again if you don't want it there.

(At least, this is how it is on PC. I don't know if PS4 is the same way.)

Unlock your hotbars and make sure you arent sharing that hotbar with your other classes/jobs because if you are everytime you change they will disappear and you will have to reset them per job.. to keep that from happening you have to go to hotbar setting and unhighlight the "hotbar 7" under the sharing tabs and by unlocking the hotbar you can drag unwanted items off and replace them with useful items

On PS4 it's a bit different. There is a cross hotbar, that has a lock on it in the centre, you can add more onto the screen if you want on ps4. The lock is unlocked and still it doesn't let me change the other bars...

I tried. I can alter the cross hotbar no problem but the verticle hotbar 7, still won't let me change it... I can add things to it, but I can't remove anything.

Crossbar and the normal hotbars have separate locks. To unlock the normal hotbars you have to unlock the lock displayed at hotbar 1.
