I Enjoyed the Beast Tribe Story After Maxing Rep

I didn't enjoy the beast tribe quests, especially the Ixal ones, but I did really like the story after. It wasn't perfect, I expected a cool instanced fight at the end and would've loved some voice acting, but I think the characters are great. I'd like to see more of this in the future - colorful characters (preferably not annoying ones), epic cutscenes, and a story that is somewhat interesting.

Also, it's awesome that you can buy crafted gloves with oak knots that are better than the melded ones we had. More great story and rewards, more fun grind (I think ALL the beast quests could be a LOT more interesting) and I'll be a happy gamer

Personally, I enjoyed the final quest for Kobolds quite a bit - something about the humor appealed to me. Haven't finished Amalj'aa and sylph dailies yet (yea, still. Previous MMOs killed my interest in dailies, but I'm getting around to doing them now), so can't quite pass judgment on those yet. Should they ever add more daily quests of this caliber, I think it'd be nice for a bit more variation other than kill X mob or find X item (or in the case of sylphs, wade through a mob-laden area carrying something that doesn't even look too heavy in the first place and should probably go in your bottomless adventurer bag).

I want to finish the others & have DoW/DoM classes that could actually use the XP, but I hate giving up the Oaknots.

I liked it too and couldn't wait to finish with the Ixali dailies. Ugh! To be fair, the problem's entirely with me since I've all DoH at 50 and decent gear so nothing was really challenging to me - just annoying to have to run back and forth to Coerthas/Mor Dhona > do easy stuff > make easy items.

Yeah I kind of felt like it was leading up to a big battle at the end but the cutscene we got kinda made up for it. It was well done, exciting and had some humor. I would definitely welcome more side stories like this.

I really enjoyed it and I loved how hefty of a questline it was. It felt like a proper reward for months of rep-grinding.

Plus now I have a tiny wind-up Novv, which is awesome.

The last quest made me think I might be allowed to have a solo boss fight, but instead I killed 2 lackeys and clicked on a furnace. The quest was fun, the CS was nice and funny, but I was ultimately disappointed.

Actually both the Kobolds and and Sylph ones were pretty funny at the end. I'm still working on the others.

So far I've loved the story for the beast tribes, I enjoyed the story behind all of them so far well I've only started 3, about to finish 2 and get to rank 3 on the 3rd.

Only annoying thing is the escort quests. For the one tribe going onto the ships is really fun for me for some reason.

They don't take long to do, maybe about a week to level, a bit over a week for the final rank? But it takes maybe..30 minutes a day for me to do these quests so it's not that bad.

It makes me wonder if these beast tribe quests will relate to the open world primals and how they come to be.
