

I agree with this thread 100%, and would like to add that people should not be asking for content to become easier. Alot of it is very easy to begin with and "steam-rollable" content is not what Video Games are intended for in the first place...
I for one would like to see 4-man dungeons on the difficulty level of Coil that are part of endgame progression with it's difficulty and loot. Put in accessories or upgrade items in those dungeons but with the kicker that they aren't completely spammable like current 4-mans. Either a short dungeon lockout (6 hrs) or entry items that need to be earned to enter them.
And I honestly never found old AK or Pharos all that difficult. They were really straightforward.

Do we really need more lockouts?
Lockouts are fine when you have a variety of things to do (and when they aren't too long). They suck in XIV cause we only have one coil-tier event.
So much of this. Every major patch has nothing but a few hard mode dungeons, 1 new dungeon, the next crystal tower, the next coil, and a handful of main story quests with a primal fight in the end. That's not really a lot to do with those.


It could even just be 5-10 ills higher... or add an effect to the gear... something that rewards but doesn't break the current gear progression



Everytime we get a hard 4-man, people barely do it.
This would just be reliving history.
