Love people who are getting so heated over the fact that they are adding a new currency... we will still be dealing with 2 types... what's the big deal here?

We used to have this little thing called Philosophy tomes back in the day. Funny story really... what happened was all the then 'good' gear became nearly impossible to obtain, along with various other items, such as crafting mats and so on. The exchange rate for then 'top' currency was paltry, so we didn't even get much out of stockpiling our old philo tomes to convert over. In their infinite wisdom, expect most of the 'AF2' drops to be moved to RNG drops in dungeons.

Point is, we've been down this road before. And it wasn't much fun back then either.

So, ill try to be less of a smart*ss then you are.

Been playing since launch and know allllll about the philosphy tome removal. Guess what? Farm. Dont like it? too bad. The gear is dated and you should have got it back then if u wanted it that bad. Crafting mats? Myth falls from the sky, use that to get the mats if you must have them so badly. Or guess what? farm the dungeons. Dont like to farm?

Lastly, AF2 will not be put into dungeons. I really doubt the iconic look for each class will be reduced to fodder gear in easymode dungeons. If im wrong, ill quote this post and admit my mistakes. You should really not try and be a DB to someone for disagreeing with your POV.

Darklight only got turned into what it was originally during 1.x, dungeon drop. At least the dropate is higher than it was during 1.x

To equip a job into full myth gear (accessories not counted) you only need to do 4-5 daily hunts and 1 weekly hunt.
