Compared to the competition SE has done good by us, plus I'd like to think they can use the extra money as an excuse to do it cyclically and with an excited vigor. If it is popular maybe they'll add more features next time, like having one of the CM with a live cam walking around the event, answering questions from the premium stream (if they're not doing that already, don't think so..).

I'm not a crazy fan of exclusive items but getting an item is pat down ritual by now and people expect it, a stream option is a nice way to keep it open yet not break tradition. Also SgtPepperUK has a good point, these codes from the events go for much more than $20 (unless the item is terrible.. lol), SE is helping set a price ceiling:P

Im happy paying for the stream, because I enjoy this game so much. The more money they get, the better the content they can give out is how I see it. Plus, $20 isnt much considering blizzard asks for $40 for their virtual tickets, which isnt even worth it.

The problem is it'll be a total of $60 if you want to watch all 3.

Edit: This is to compare it to Blizzard's $40 price tag, because it's just one event, here we have 3 fan fests and each will probably have the same price tag.

your annoyed paying $20 for the stream? thats a small fraction of the price most are paying for the fanjets tickets, and other companies charge the same for such a thing D:
if you wishy o be annoyed then get mad at the peeps watching it free at the same time :P

my ticket cost £65 in dollars i would say roughly $115? sooo i wouldn't be mad paying $20 :P ( £10? )

If Only the Keynote wasn't excluded from that, I wouldn't have a problem. In fact I wouldn't even be posting anything if (100%) of the stream was on Both HD and SD. I have no Problem with paying them for the HD stream ( if at a reasonable price), since this is a 'Fan" fest, for the fans, it seems kinda odd to charge money to watch something online. There is absolutely zero reason to not include the Keynote in the SD stream.

The fact that the EU team just said that the free stream wont include the reveals kinda makes it less fan oriented and more money grabbing.
