    Lightbulb More Open World content and areas and more sense of danger

    I believe The World of ARR needs more expanded areas and more open world content and areas. I hate zoning. i hated it with a passion in ffxi till it saved my character from dying when i was aggroed lol... yet i believe the game needs more open world content and more detailed open world areas with a purpose. most areas in the game lacks purpose or any reason to visit them. Get working

    The zones make the world feel smaller. I wish the areas were more interconnected to give a sense of an actual world with a greater sense of freedom. Like with the train station in Thanalan, they should at least make it so there's an actual train that runs on it to give us a sense of a bustling, active world that extends beyond me. Or even one up that and allow us to ride on it... Am I asking too much?

    I'd love more danger. Even WoW has more danger than ARR. Not asking for it to be only danger, but a little would be very welcomed.

    I mostly agree with the sentiment, however, I can't think of any locations in ARR that don't have a purpose. I thought that was actually a common complaint -- that there are no areas that exist for their own sake. Every notable location is used in at least 1 quest if not many. Most locations have no reason to be revisited, true, but I'm not sure how they could pull off making so many areas perpetually relevant.

    i agree the game is very much lacking in any open world content besides the "Hunt". The game could use some more area's to explore like a dungeon without it being a que. to go inside in check in what types of powerful monsters there are and what Notorious monsters are inside what rare items they drops ^^ along with enemys that are regular that are just as strong as que dungeon monsters that would give it a real world exploration feeling ^^ please thumbs up if you agree to bit of this

    Do the suggestions posted in here find their way to SE? I thought this was just for the website suggestions!? I'd like to suggest something but not sure where the Dev team looks for comments.

    Anyway on Topic: Agreed, add some maze like zones where there is no map available, no mounts that can be called and high level mobs that you have to tentatively sneak past unless with a full party. Think about Yhoater from FF11 at level 25, so easy to get lost until you learned the map, and good chance you'd be dead if you couldn't.
