    I see overzealousness often, but mostly from WHM, BLM, and BRD.

    WHM, stop casting regen until AFTER the fight has started and aggro has been maintained (basically, wait about 8-10 seconds after the pulling has started).
    BLM, if you're going to use Raging Strikes, combine Quelling with it so your aggro gain becomes pitiful enough to where you won't steal the aggro from the tanks easily.
    BRD, STOP ATTACKING BEFORE THE TANK HITS IT FIRST! Seriously, I see this too often and you need to wait maybe 3 seconds for the first hit to be taken by the tank otherwise the monster will place priority on your aggro.

    It's enough to where I've started calling those classes the "trouble" classes. Because almost every time I see one (short of my friends playing them), they're nothing but trouble and turn the run into a bad time. I've seen this from PLD too, mostly due to the constant starting of pulls with Provoke (seriously people, don't do this, Provoke only syncs your aggro with the person who is currently highest on the aggro meter, it does nothing when nobody has hit the enemy), lack of Shield Lobbing, and not being able to hold the hate on 3 enemies (is it too much to ask for the PLD to cycle through the enemies with the Halone combo so each one is hit by a bonus enmity move?).

    @Fyce

    Sort of what you said, I just consider a pull having started when the tank moves in to engage and it is usually during that time or after the initial shield lob that I see the regen get cast. After shield lob can sometimes be okay for a single mob, but not for a pack as aoe agro has not been established yet.

    @Teryaani

    Sadly, I have been seeing this in all the content but yeah ST is probably the worst.

    Voke pulling can be useful in rare occassions due to its longer range than shield lob, to get that patrol without aggroing the pack, albeit more so in lower level dungeons than max level where ya just pull em all regardless :P

    Lost City, last trash before boss, helps to split them.

    Disagree with this statement about voke. I feel like blowing your "oh sh*t i need hate" move to circumvent the range of shield lob is a bad habit to get into, particularly since voke has such a long cooldown.

    If this was only in low lvl content, I could understand but this has been happening mainly in high lvl content.

    What I have been seeing lately.
    - OT's staying in tank stance during bosses, even when there are no adds. There is really no reason for this, it reduces your dps and makes it so you potentially end up fighting for aggro control.
    - Healers using HoT spells (regen, med 2) during a pull. Healing generates aggro and a HoT means you have established a constant stream of aggro towards you, multiply that by a full party that you just cast med 2 on and you have just painted a huge target on yourself.
    - DPS going all out with their attacks and offensive cooldowns during a pull and not using their aggro reduction abilities. Damage generates aggro and big spike damage can generate a decent chunk of it which can easily mess up a pull if the tank is still running to the boss to pull or has not even got in their initial aggro generation.

    Has anyone else been seeing this regularly as well?
    Since I've began playing in 2.0, it's been the current usage.

    I tend not to bother, as I can change myself, but I have no control over others, except letting them the aggro and hopefully the healer let them die so they know. Same with the Healer. I will use my provoke to get aggro back, if someone still insist of getting the aggro back, be my guest.

    It take a few shot ahead from the Tank before you begin blasting stuff or healing, it's not supposed to be this hard to understand the concept.. yet..

    It's sad, but that's what you end up playing with more than just 24 people from your own circle of friends.

    I thought popping quelling strikes at start of boss/trial fights was common knowledge.

    I don't think I've ever had my Drg steal enmity at start of a fight, but always have elusive jump just in case. Mnk doesn't have a way to reduce enmity, but unless they use PB/b4b/IR and go all out at start, they don't have dps to tear away enmity at start.

    The problem comes down to this:

    Warrior not using unchained tomahawk. Followed by SOME weave of berserk at the end of their threat combo. (obviously in defiance)

    Paladin not using Fight or Flight >> shield lob >> circle of scorn >> threat combo. (With shield oath)

    What I tend to see is... tank run in tomahawk/shield lob and think that's good enough. (I was guilty of this once before)
    The other bad habit is...when they lose threat they keep throwing shield lob thinking it will magically get their hate back.

    If you lose threat on paladin you could at least use cover on the threat target....

    If whatever you're shooting doesn't die after you pump 8, 32 caliber, slugs into it, it's probably a dragon.

    I dunno about using Fight or Flight before shield lob. It's not needed. Better to activate it after shield lob. If you choose to do fight or flight before lob you won't get the last buffed rage of halone and circle of scorn. I mean it's whatever I guess? If you care for damage. Buutttttttt buffed rage of halone is a good enmity boost.

    If I do the pull properly I have enough timer on flight or flight to re-apply circle of scorn under the buff. So thats 2 circle of scorn under Fight or flight. (I think that's 2 rage of halone combos in between.)

    So I don't see the issue, but you can't slack you need to be on point to get it done correctly.
