Initial enmity generation and player bad habits.

Had a pld tank that was 'ot' in titan hm trial. A healer died and a couple dps died, then the main tank died and titan started turning around. I saw the pld switch to shield oath but did not attempt to take aggro at all. Titan ended up walking around punching the remaining people left and right, while the pld was chasing titan's ass trying to halone combo. It was a baffling sight, considering I was the war main tank.

Tank just used lob and is herding everything to flash and scorn but the amazing blm decides "fk it" *SWIFT CAST + FLARE BEFORE FLASH* Whyyyyyy!?!

The other amazing things that have graced my retinas during dungeons:

Auto fairy pulling bosses.
DPS that like to pull.
DPS that don't know what marks mean.
"No healing or dps before the room glows while on ultima" *tank runs to pull ultima, tank just about to use lob, WHM casts regen, Ultima ping pong match commence.
WHM that thinks medica II must be kept on at all times.
That cleric stance healer.
Tanks that use sword oath to tank and refuse to swap to shield oath.
Tanks that think they're DPS and spin monsters to attack their behind much to the melee DPS's annoyance.
Tanks pulling with provoke.
"Tank just pulled quick unleash the AOES!!"
Lets pull the boss before the WHM has the chance to get MP back.

Personally sometimes I accidentally refresh regen on the tank when the last monster in the pull is about to die then the tank goes to pull more and everything starts nibbling my legs, reflex sadly, I just auto pilot regen -> CS -> DPS mode. I deserve those nibbled legs...

the issue is with AOE enmity , solution change flash to be a Ranged aoe , instead of pbaoe

or just let paladin go captain america with shield lob and warrior , tomahawk ricochet

Had a fellow WHM do that in Ruda ex....was not pleasant. A ilvl100 WHM, thinking that Medica II was essential as a blanket buff like Protect. x_X

I see that tank do that, I go two ways. Either I Cleric Stance and heal. Hey, if they want to tank sub-par, I'll heal sub-par. Or, I just let them die. If you're gonna make my role harder (keeping you alive), then I'll make your role harder (staying alive).

Just stand outside. If they are tunnel-visioned enough to not see your MP, they deserve a death or two.

Tanks, remember one thing. You may be setting the pace for the dungeon, but your healer is carrying you through the dungeon. Treat them with some more respect, and we'll value you as well.

Aggro wise I don't have much trouble even if the BLM cast Flare at the start, it may take the odd 1 or 2 Flash'sh to get it back depending if the Flare was a critical or not.

Ive had a few tanks that pull bosses while I'm AFK. The other day I was in HM hard and before we started the fight I typed "AFK bathroom", MNK said "ok" went away, came back to see the tank and BLM in the boss room getting their asses handed to them, the MNK being sensible stood outside the room with me...Reading chat is also a must.

Guess I've been lucky, since I've only seen this in trial roulette, and usually it's people light farming so even with those kind of behaviors, we usually still clear it without wiping.
