    Important Stats: Intelligence and MP for magic, Vitality for tankiness

    Esper (ESP)
    Mentalists who command the laws of physics and the flow of aether with their minds.

    Backstory
    Guild Location: Limsa Lominsa Lower Docks.
    Guild Master: Roten, a mysterious, sharply dressed Hyur who hides his face under a red visor. He represents an anonymous party that has taken an interest in Eorzea and opened the guild at their behest. But why?

    Offensive Spells/Skills
    - Black Hole: Damages and pulls all foes with in 10 yalms of the caster towards the user by 5 yalms. Potency of 60. 3 second cast time. 5 second recast.
    - Fission: Damages a selected target. Potency of 240. 2.5 second cast time. 2.5 second recast.
    - Gravity: Binds all foes with in 5 yalms of the user for 5 seconds and generates enmity. 2.5 second cast time. 5 second recast.
    - Imperil: Damages and Stuns a selected target for 3 seconds. Potency of 100. Instant cast time. 2.5 second recast.
    - Psychokinesis: Damages a selected target and generates enmity. Potency of 100. Instant cast time. 2.5 second recast.
    - Pyrokinesis: Places a DoT on all foes with in 5 yalms of the caster for 18 seconds. Potency of 35. Instant cast time. 2.5 second cast time.
    - Telekinesis: Damages a selected target and pulls them towards the caster by 5 yalms. Potency of 130. 2.5 second cast time. 2.5 second recast.

    Support Spells/Skills
    - Blink: Places 3 After-Images on the caster. One After-Image will absorb one attack meant for the caster (minus some powerful attacks). 2.5 second cast time. 10 second recast.
    - Bubble: Increases Max HP by 10% for 30 seconds. Instant cast time. 120 second recast.
    - Clairvoyance: Causes the caster to evade all attacks for 5 seconds (minus some powerful attacks). 2.5 second cast time. 420 second recast.
    - Inertia: For 30 seconds, the user will generate Enmity when they successfully evade, parry or absorb an attack. Instant cast time. 30 second recast.
    - Levitate: Makes the caster float in the air for 10 seconds, avoiding any ground effects (effects, not attacks). 2.5 second cast time. 30 second recast.
    - Maser: Stance Skill. Decreases the damage done by the user by 15% but increases Enmity Generated by 20%. Instant cast time. 2.5 second recast.
    - Meditate: Places a Regen-like effect on the caster for 21 seconds. Potency of 100. Instant cast time. 90 second recast.
    - Mind's Eye: Increases the user's Evasion by 20% for 15 seconds. Instant cast time. 90 second recast.
    - Null: Places a barrier around the user that absorbs damgage equal to 20% of the user's max HP. 2.5 second cast time. 2.5 second recast.
    - Reverse: For 15 seconds, whenever the caster receives damage, they will recover 15% of that damage as MP (this effect is applied 0.5 seconds after the initial damage is done). Instant cast time. 60 second recast.

    40. Soaring: Levitate now also increases the caster's Evasion by 5% and Movement Speed by 10%.
    44. Mental Shielding: Barriers placed on the caster will now only suffer 90% of damage.
    48. Bubble Burst: If the user's HP is above their actual Max when Bubble's effects ends, they will generate enmity.

    Teacher:Klaren, another agent of the mysterious party that is interested in Eorzea, she is far less enigmatic then Roten. She acts as a messenger between the player and her employers, offering a chance to meet them when their task is done. Who are these mysterious people? And what is the task they need done?
    Relic: Ozma

    Skills
    30. Decoy: Links the user to a selected party member for 15 seconds. 25% of the enmity that party member gains goes to the user. Instant cast time. 90 second recast.
    35. Brainstorm: Silences all foes with in 5 yalms of the caster for 1 second. Instant cast time. 30 second recast.
    40. Psyche: Restarts all barriers placed on the user (not including Blink). 2 second cast time. 60 second recast.
    45. Reflect: Place a barrier around the caster that damages the next foe that magically damages the user for 50% of the damage (this does NOT weaken the damage and happens 0.5 second after the initial damage). This damage can be absorbed by barriers and After-Images. Instant cast. 120 second recast.
    50. Syphon: Places a 5 yalm AoE around the caster for 10 seconds. 15% of all damage done onto any party member with in the AoE will go to the caster (minus some powerful attacks). 2.5 second cast time. 120 second recast.

    How exactly would you keep melee enemies on hold as a ranged tank? If it's a kite-type tank, how would DRG and MNK deal damage?

    I read some of the skills, but most enemies are immune to crowd control.

    @Destinova and Alukah
    Simple, you use Telekinesis and Black Hole to pull them towards you.
    Plus, even thought their auto-attack and some of their spells can be used at range, they can still cast them in close quarter.

    PLD's Spirits Within starts at 300 potency and Rage of Halone is 260 when combined with Savage blade and WAR's Storm's Eye is 270 when combined with Maim. I had to compensate for not having Combos and for most of the other offensive spells being weaker.
