I don't see how basically saying: "they didn't post here because they're not going to choose your system, and they're instead going to choose something closer to my system" makes any sense when his threads have been ignored by the devs too.

My bet is on them not really wanting player feedback for this matter (it sounded like Yoshida was going over the decision himself, rather than actually asking for feedback), but that's the cynic in me speaking.

Sounds optimistic more than anything really.

If he can't develop a good game by himself (the core game), letting us develop the game for him isn't going to help anything. The game will simply be doomed.

Our help will probably be more taken into account once we know the big picture and can focus on criticizing the details, whatever the system ends up being. They will overlook some things and that's what we are here for.

Was just thinking about how many threads and posts have been made about this subject (probably more than about any other) when they didn't even ask for feedback to begin with, which made me think about everything being ignored.

Wasn't really the best word to use there, would've probably ended up editing it out.
