PS4 - Wireless mouse cutting in and out

My wireless keyboard and mouse had a good 10 ft range and could be obstructed my most things when I plug them in my laptop. When I switch them to ps4 my rang becomes about 5 ft an even having my leg in wrong spot obstruCT the mouse and keyboard. Fixing your channels could fix your issue but probably not.

Not normally. You can verify if that's the problem easily enough by pulling out the keyboard dongle and just using the mouse for a bit. You can rule out the game completely as well by testing it on something like the built in browser on the console.

Didn't think of the browser. Good idea. The only problem with troubleshooting in these ways is that the behavior in the game is somewhat sporadic. I guess when it starts happening, I'll immediately try the two things you mentioned. If it is an issue of them sharing a channel, do you think switching one to bluetooth would help?

I figured our the problem. Simply put, my couch cushion was partly obstructing the wireless signal between the mouse and dongle. Moved the mouse forward a bit and it was fine. Whew!
