SE gave notice almost a week ago.

Doesn't mean I can revolve my daily life around their schedule. I'd rather not leave my PS4 turned on overnight either.

But they should revolve their maintenance schedule around yours? (Sony that is) The PSN requirement for logging into FFXIV is COMPLETELY on Sony btw as it's part of THEIR DRM crap. SE's choices were deal with it or don't bother releasing the game on Sony consoles. They decided to keep their promise and release it. I honestly don't know why Sony has so many PSN maintenances though. M$ may be a pain but Xbox LIVE rarely has maintenance that brings down the whole network like Sony does with PSN.

That's what pisses me off. I don't care that PSN goes down for maintenance. I care because it keeps me from playing a game I'm paying to play. They should just change the way it checks for DRM. If you log in almost daily, it shouldn't require a check so often.
