It's going to be next Tuesday, when the fantasia changes are going live...

The bond system was pushed back to 2.45 at least anyway, and Golden Saucer only has a "before expansion" release.

It says chocobo racing is in the cards, and mentions ninja in 2.4. I wouldn't say that means the golden saucer is inclued in 2.4.

I am off the entire week of oct. 21 so I am rooting for that, but I would guess the week after that.

I'd think the smart time would be this month, or at least before the 14th. That way they can test the servers, and water down some of the excitement before a new set of people come in. Unless they're stuck on making sure everyone sees an error the first time they create a new character... XD

While it could be, although I feel it will probably be earlier, I would advise caution in looking too much into this article for accurate information. According to it, or at least the way they worded it, the Eternal Bond system is already out :P

Nothing to do with 2.4, all to do with WoD coming the day before. Commercial strategy at work, nothing more

Mmm...Yoshi-P did say last month that we can expect 2.4 "next month" ....and it's next month now. There's a pretty big consensus out there that the release would be right after the fan festivals (US and Euro) landing somewhere between October 28-31. Of course it could have been delayed. But I'd like to keep a positive attitude about an October release instead of November..

The date November 14th is for the game of the year edition of the game, which includes all the patches we have and 2.4 on the disk. So it has nothing to do really with the release date of 2.4 other than the 14th is the latest possible time we'd have to wait.

More than likely the digital patch will come out before the disc copy including it. Once again November 14th is the release of the Game of the year edition, not of 2.4.
