(BUG Report GM PLEASE READ) LVL 45 Sch QuestLine "In the Image of the Ancients"

NPC name: Alka Zolka (Marauders Guild)
Class/level: Scholar/50
Party or solo: Solo
Race: Lalafell Male
Area and coordinates: Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks (11,6)
Steps:
1.I began the quest, collected the sch gear that was rewarded after talking to each npc
2.After I had collected the pieces of the AF level 45 gear I deleted them from my armoury chest having no use for them due to already having gear for the class.
3.Apon return to the NPC to turn in my quest he asked me to wear the AF Gear that I had just deleted therefor making the quest impossible to turn in.
4.To try to remedy the situation I used the calamity salvager but can not purchase the sch gear I have deleted because the quest can not be completed due to the gear being a key item for the quest.

Also the quest can not be abandoned and I sent an in game report which directed me to here in the reply.

To fix this situation I'm requesting to either have my sch quest line reset or moogle mailed the AF gear from this quest.

Edit: You can also rebuy your AF gear from the Calamity Salvager.

There is no permission given to members to post bugs in the bugs forum and as stated in the description I tried the calamity salvager but the quest cannot be completed and the calamity salvager only sells u gear back from completed quests therefore making it a bug and not just me rambling on about nothing.

Can you abandon the quest and try again, can't remember if you can do that with job quests.

Not sure why you would drop the AF anyway, why not just put it in the armoir?

Just in case you're trying something else, it's the In-Game Bugs forum where you should be trying to create a thread. If that's not working, no idea what's up.

You can reclaim these discarded quest item from the Calamity Salvager NPC
